Originally built as the "City of Mackinac" in 1883, this vessel was renamed and started operations on the Cleveland-Buffalo route. She ran a few seasons as express service in Michigan. In 1918 this vessel was sold to the Goodrich Trans. Company and renamed the "Florida"
